Locomotive Roster Wednesday 4th October and weekend 7th & 8th October 2017

Last week saw the introduction of the mid-week diesel railcar service with 6 round trips starting at 10.00. The service will be operated by the Class 101 diesel multiple unit which will also will be on the Saturday and Sunday diesel services.

Following publication of the roster last week, this was revised when we announced that ‘Black 5’ 44871 would be arriving and would be at the head of steam services over the weekend. Unfortunately its movement from Fort William was cancelled so services resorted to the home fleet in the shape of 4F 43924. Although currently marooned somewhere between Fort William and Keighley, we are confident it will arrive this week and take it’s place at the head of the steam service this weekend. Should its arrival be delayed again, we will issue an amendment as soon as we can.
