After the daily running over the Christmas period normality returns this weekend with MR 4F 0-6-0 43924 operating the Saturday & Sunday steam service with diesel railbus M79964 on the diesel turn.
In addition there are 3 members’ specials operating an Ingrow West – Keighley shuttle on the 10th January in celebration of 50 years of the first carriages arriving on the Railway, when Manning Wardle 0-6-0ST ‘Sir Berkeley’ will haul the MS&LR and SR ‘Matchboard’ coaches, the first passenger stock to arrive in 1965. Contrary to our previous announcement, members of the public will be able to travel on the 2nd and 3rd trains in this event, timed to leave Ingrow at 13.30 and 15.00.
