The Railway is seeking applicants for the full-time post of Operations Officer. The duties of this post will include; staffing sufficiently to run its timetabled service both now and in the future, development of volunteer recruitment, training and rostering systems.
The post holder will be expected to carry out Responsible Officer (Duty Manager) duties from time to time, particularly when mid-week running is taking place, and therefore must be physically fit and able to pass a Railway medical for safety critical duties. Applicants must be IT literate and also hold a current full UK driving licence, and have existing knowledge and practical experience of operating within a passenger carrying railway.
Salary, depending on experience, will start in the range £20,000 – £25,000 per annum.
